I make bespoke software for startups. Minimum Viable Products, Prototypes, ML algorithms... whatever you need to start pitching. You get a discount in exchange for equity, so I have an interest in your continued success.
It's easy enough to find a software shop that will sell you the only thing they can make.
I will build exactly what you need for the next step in your startup.
Send me an email at oscar@proto-typed.com
Let me know what you want, what you've already done, what you're planning and what your skills are.
We get to know each other and determine if we want to work together.
I will also need to know some things about your business: What is your budget? What do you need the first prototype for? Pitching, market research, or even real use? Do you need an MVP, or an SLC? Do you need to scale down as well as up? How precise and focussed are your requirements?
Good requirements can save a lot of time (and money). We will focus on those things that you need in the current phase of your startup, be that funding, market fit, proof of feasibility, or something else.
After we've agreed on the terms and requirements, I go to work. I aim to keep projects below 1-3 months depending on complexity.
Costs: equity + third party costs + 45 EUR/hour
With a first version in hand, go through the next steps of growing your startup.
If your requirements change, or if you need to take the prototype to the next level, we repeat the previous steps 2-3 times.
When you become succesful and are ready to move development to an in-house team, I can help you with the recruitment process.
There are many interesting ideas that take a large initial effort before the real market fit can be determined. The opportunity costs for taking on such projects is too high for me. The required development time before you can start pitching should be no more than 3 months.
Sadly, software development is rife with scams and other unethical application. I have no interest in participating in their development.
My name is Oscar Leijendekker. I am a software developer with experience in over a dozen programming languages and many technologies, as well as a solid understanding of good software development principles. I have special knowledge of 3D graphics programming, and geometric algorithms, as well as a bit of type theory and formal methods.
I've had several failed startups, from which I learned a lot. Now I'm no longer interested in running a business, I want you to do that, while I develop your initial product.
With a simple frontend and a bare-bones backend, Traddil was able to start pitching their supply-chain analysis tool to customers and investors.
A federated payment system for web-scale machine-to-machine payments and micropayments. As I couldn't sell the technology to banks or PSPs, I have open-sourced the project. You can check out the code repository and the website.
Visualized the collaboration within an academic institution based on co-authorship in published papers.
A website that scraped software engineering vacancies from multiple sources and used a simple AI algorithm to filter out false positives.
Project is suspended as I couldn't find a market fit.
